The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi to Shed Light on Climate Change at ADHIEX 2023

The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) will have a stand that reflects the journey of fusing science and nature to address climate change at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). The exhibition is taking place on September 2^nd to 8^th 2023 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The Agency will once again be a main sponsor of the event and EAD’s stand at ADIHEX is designed to unveil how the Agency is aligned with the Year of Sustainability as announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, at the beginning of the year, as EAD shares the same vision of ensuring that sustainability is at the core of what it does.

The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group Celebrates 15 Years of Pioneering Environmental Efforts

The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group (ADSG), which was created by the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) in 2008, is celebrating its 15-year anniversary which coincides with the Year of Sustainability announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. 

As part of this remarkable milestone, the ADSG has invited all of its members to reaffirm their commitment to the group’s mission and vision. This calls for a commitment to work together to adopt sustainability as a fundamental approach to achieving the vision of the emirate of Abu Dhabi regarding sustainable development, building a cohesive society and an open economy capable of global competition.

The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi Successfully Receives 150 Applications

Following the successful launch of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Environmental Award in May 2023 in collaboration with European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) has announced it has received 150 applications from individuals and entities across all categories.

 A dedicated technical committee was formed, comprising experts from relevant fields, which thoroughly reviewed each application to ensure adherence to the specified criteria. As a result, 86 applicants have been qualified and deemed eligible to participate in the award.
